Role: Process Mapping Expert - S/4 HANA
Role Type: Temporary – 6 Months + Possible Extension
Location: Macclesfield (x3 days on site per week / x2 working remote)

You will be a key member of the Process Excellence team, driving the introduction and use of business process methods and tools to ensure the success of the design, implementation and use of business processes on major projects including SAP S/4HANA. You will bring experience of business process execution and problem solving to support transformational change. Able to work with a network of stakeholders to inform requirements and change impacts, develop a forward plan and drive plan delivery.

Your New Role
Acting as a member of the Centre of Process Excellence team, this role will help to drive SAP S/4HANA process design with a view to supporting process excellence initiatives across the business. Contribute to the improvement of a process excellence methodology and standards to align people, process, data and technology across AZ
Train and coach process excellence capabilities and use of business process tooling
Assist in the governance of requests for changes to a common AZ business process framework
Assist in proactive monitoring of business process to provide assurance that published business processes are maintained and improved in line with established standards
Leverage, govern and optimize process excellence technologies
Support business ownership of the process excellence tooling
Develop a migration path for applicable processes to be managed using the business process tooling
Assist in the pro-active monitoring of the business process to provide assurance that the published business processes are maintained and improved in line with established standards
Partner with business and programme teams to identify high-impact opportunities for process optimisation, developing strategic improvement roadmaps that leverage insights from completed business process mapping exercises.

Essential Skills
Process thinking skills/ Process Excellence experience
Experience working in a supply chain environment i.e. Network, Strategy and Supply Chain Planning.
Practical exposure to process optimisation or operational excellence within SAP S/4HANA, ERP, or other large-scale transformation initiatives, using structured problem solving and process improvement tools.
Experience working in a supply chain environment i.e. Network, Strategy and Supply Chain Planning.
Experience of using or managing BPM applications
Demonstrable experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable continuous improvement methodologies to process design, optimisation, or transformation projects.
Confident presenter and live process mapping workshop facilitator
SAP / S4Hanna experience advantageous or ERP experience
Confident presenter and live process mapping workshop facilitator
Experienced in providing training and coaching
Excellent networking, collaboration, and communication skills
Confident in engaging with stakeholders

Desirable for the role
Experience in a similar Process Excellence role
SAP implementation experience
Experience of working with financial or quality process controls
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above) or experience in leading or supporting Lean/Six Sigma projects, with clear evidence of value delivered in business process environments.
Track record of facilitating or coaching process improvement or optimisation activities in complex, data-driven business environments, such as SAP S/4HANA projects or comparable ERP settings.
