Summary: The SAP S/4 Data Expert – P2P / MM role involves supporting the definition of business data requirements within the S/4 HANA design process, focusing on data standards and migration readiness. The expert will engage with various business stakeholders to ensure data design aligns with business needs and SAP standards. This position is critical for ensuring data quality and governance throughout the migration process to S/4 HANA. The role is offered as an initial 6-month contract based in Bedfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the definition, documentation, and implementation of S/4 Enterprise Data standards related to P&MM.
  • Apply data, process, and object expertise to support S/4 process design.
  • Collaborate with current business data capability to ensure alignment of S/4 design.
  • Influence prioritization of data delivery related to P&MM.
  • Define the change journey from current to future state data design.
  • Ensure non-SAP system requirements are considered in data design.
  • Contribute to the development of the S/4 Data Governance Strategy and Roadmap.
  • Assist in the development of the S/4 Data Quality Strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of the S/4 Cleanse and Migrate strategy.
  • Support project data migration processes.
  • Ensure data aligns with the S/4 HANA Data Governance Framework.
  • Assist in creating effective global procedures for data governance.

Key Skills:

  • Significant experience and domain expertise in P&MM.
  • Experience designing and implementing Data Standards for a global enterprise.
  • Solid understanding of SAP transactions and reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience in Business/IT partnering for Data Governance solutions.
  • Experience with global working and across cultures.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Ability to lead negotiations across complex groups.
  • Consistent record of delivery and effective prioritization skills.
