Summary: The SAP Retail Functional Consultant is responsible for leading functional activities related to the integration of master data into SAP systems. This role involves requirement gathering, managing dependencies, and collaborating with legacy system teams to ensure successful data delivery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and define high-level requirements for end-to-end master data integration.
  • Plan timelines in alignment with system test cycles.
  • Use JIRA for scope alignment, tracking, and delivery planning.
  • Prepare High-Level Design (HLD), Field Mapping Documents (FMD), and Functional Design Documents (FDD) for article integration.
  • Drive reviews and secure required approvals.
  • Oversee inbound master data integration into SAP, leveraging strong experience with SAP MDG and SAP Retail master data.
  • Validate master data flow during SIT and UAT phases.
  • Support SIT and UAT activities, ensuring timely delivery of all functional testing outputs.
  • Coordinate with Legacy system teams to clarify high-level requirements.
  • Manage SAP dependencies across architecture, MDG, BTP, and related integration streams.
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and technical leads.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues throughout design and build phases.
