SAP QM Consultant - Outside IR35

Summary: The role of SAP QM Consultant involves facilitating workshops, configuring SAP QM processes, and ensuring integration with other modules for a long-term project in Manchester. The consultant will support the full life cycle delivery and provide stakeholder engagement and training. This position is ideal for candidates with extensive SAP Manufacturing experience and strong functional knowledge of SAP Quality Management. The role is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate fit-to-standard and fit-gap workshops for QM processes.
• Configure and optimise SAP QM processes, including inspections, quality notifications, and compliance reporting.
• Ensure integration of QM with PM/EAM, MM, PP, and SD modules.
• Support full life cycle delivery, including design, build, test, cutover, and hypercare.
• Drive UAT support, defect resolution, and process optimisation.
• Provide stakeholder engagement, training, and change support.

Key Skills:

• Extensive SAP Manufacturing experience (ideally 10+ years) across implementation and support programmes.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Quality Management (QM).
• Experience in S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Demonstrated experience in complex manufacturing environments (eg aerospace, defence, or engineering).
• Delivery experience in full life cycle delivery, including testing and deployment.
• Experience as both a team lead/senior role and as a technical/delivery role in a team is required.
