Summary: The SAP PSCD Functional Consultant role involves delivering enhancements and project work related to SAP Tax and Revenue Management solutions. This position requires a senior consultant with extensive knowledge of SAP TRM and PSCD, excellent client-facing skills, and the ability to lead a team in refining client requirements and implementing solutions. The role is part of a dynamic SAP team that supports one of the largest implementations globally, with an expectation of growth. Regular travel to Telford or Worthing is required as part of the hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to coordinate and deliver end-to-end solutions for new and existing projects.
- Attend and lead workshops with clients to understand requirements and articulate solutions.
- Write design documentation, including blueprints and functional specifications.
- Configure the SAP solution to meet client requirements.
- Support developers during the build phase and conduct initial testing of the solution.
- Assist testers to ensure proper understanding and testing of the solution.
- Ensure successful delivery of the solution to the live system and complete appropriate handover to live services.
- Possess knowledge of SAP Tax and Revenue Management.
Key Skills:
- Experience with SAP Public Sector Collections and Disbursement (PSCD) or other industry-specific FI-CA experience.
- Knowledge of SAP TRM (Tax and Revenue Management).
- At least one full project life cycle experience in FI-CA and proven system support experience.
- Experience in supporting/implementing SAP solutions within the Public Sector.
- Excellent consulting and customer-facing skills.
- Knowledge of UK statutory financial accounting and reporting requirements.
- Accountancy qualifications are a distinct advantage.
- Strong problem and incident resolution skills, testing, and documentation standards.
