SAP PSCD Functional Consultant

Summary: The SAP PSCD Functional Consultant role involves providing expertise in SAP Public Sector Collections and Disbursement (PSCD) and related financial solutions. The consultant will support the implementation and maintenance of SAP systems within the public sector, ensuring compliance with UK financial regulations. Strong consulting skills and experience in full project life cycles are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in SAP Public Sector Collections and Disbursement (PSCD) and related financial solutions.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of SAP systems within the public sector.
• Ensure compliance with UK statutory financial accounting and reporting requirements.
• Engage with clients to deliver excellent consulting and customer-facing services.
• Resolve problems and incidents, and adhere to testing and documentation standards.

Key Skills:

• SAP Public Sector Collections and Disbursement (PSCD) or other industry-specific FI-CA experience.
• SAP TRM (Tax and Revenue Management).
• Experience with at least 1 full project life cycle (FI-CA) and proven system support.
• Experience supporting/implementing SAP solutions within the Public Sector.
• Excellent consulting and customer-facing skills.
• Knowledge of UK statutory financial accounting and reporting requirements.
• Accountancy qualifications are a distinct advantage.
• Problem and incident resolution, testing, and documentation standards/methodology.

• SAP Public Sector Collections and Disbursement (PSCD) (else other industry specific FI-CA experience such as Utilities, Telecoms, Insurance or SAP BRIM/Hybris Billing)
• SAP TRM (Tax and Revenue Management)
• At least 1 full project life cycle (FI-CA) and proven system support experience
• Experience supporting/implementing SAP solutions within the Public Sector
• Excellent consulting and customer facing skills
• Knowledge of UK statutory financial accounting and reporting requirements, management accounting techniques and integration touch points to other SAP modules.
• Accountancy qualifications a distinct advantage.
• Problem and incident resolution, Testing, Documentation standards/methodology, Interpersonal skills
