Summary: The role of SAP PS Consultant involves leading the rollout of S/4HANA Service Management within a service business environment. The consultant will be responsible for gathering business requirements, configuring SAP PS solutions, and providing training and support to users. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the rollout of S/4HANA Service Management (SM).
- Gather and analyse business requirements; create BRDs and functional specifications.
- Configure and customise SAP PS solutions aligned with business needs.
- Drive Unit Testing and UAT cycles, ensuring successful delivery.
- Collaborate with global/template teams to implement best practices.
- Work closely with SAP capability leads and cross-functional teams.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and risks.
- Deliver training sessions to business users on SAP functionalities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business and template teams.
- Coordinate with data migration teams on strategy and execution.
- Support development of migration programs and validation activities.
- Provide intensive Hypercare support after rollout to ensure system stability.
- Monitor system performance and resolve user issues promptly.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups during Hypercare to track issues and resolutions.
- Ensure high user satisfaction and smooth transition to steady-state operations.
Key Skills:
- 8–10 years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP PS (Project Systems).
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA implementations/rollouts.
- Strong understanding of integration with other SAP modules (SD/MM/Finance).
- Experience in UAT, data migration, and post-go-live support.
