Summary: The SAP Project Manager role involves leading the delivery of a large-scale SAP transformation project within a complex enterprise environment. The position requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders and system integrators to ensure successful project execution across various workstreams. This contract role is hybrid and focuses on managing the full project lifecycle, including governance and reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA or ECC projects and strong stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA or ECC transformation projects
- Manage full project lifecycle including planning, execution, testing, and go-live
- Coordinate cross-functional SAP workstreams across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and IT
- Own project governance including RAID, budgeting, timelines, and reporting
- Manage system integrators, third-party vendors, and internal delivery teams
- Ensure alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Drive programme reporting and provide regular updates to senior leadership
- Support cutover planning and transition into hypercare
Key Skills:
- Strong experience delivering SAP S/4HANA or ECC transformation projects
- Proven ownership of full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, or rollouts
- Ability to manage multiple SAP workstreams in complex environments
- Skilled in stakeholder and vendor management across business and IT
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and RAID logs
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SAP delivery models
- Strong communication and programme governance experience
