SAP Project Manager

Summary: The SAP Project Manager role involves leading a strategic migration from the JDE ERP platform to SAP S/4HANA for a global life science organization. The position requires managing the entire implementation process, including stakeholder communication and compliance with regulatory requirements. The role includes travel to Leeds, UK for key project phases. This is an initial 6-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of the S/4HANA implementation programme, from design through cutover and hypercare
• Manage the migration pathway from legacy JD Edwards, including data migration, process re-mapping, and change management specific to a JDE-to-SAP transition
• Act as primary point of contact between client stakeholders, SI partners, and internal workstream leads
• Manage project governance, RAID logs, budgets, and reporting to steering committee/sponsors
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams (functional, technical, data, testing, training, OCM)
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory/validation requirements (GxP, CSV) if operating in a regulated pharma/life sciences environment
• Manage third-party vendors and system integrators to ensure delivery against milestones
• Lead cutover planning and hypercare stabilisation
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues across the programme

Key Skills:

• Demonstrable experience delivering a JD Edwards to SAP S/4HANA migration
• Strong track record as an SAP Project full-lifecycle implementations
• Solid understanding of ERP data migration challenges and legacy system decommissioning
• Experience managing multi-workstream, multi-vendor delivery
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating at senior/C-suite level
• Pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing sector experience
