Summary: The role of SAP Programme Manager/Delivery Lead involves overseeing a significant SAP transformation programme for a prominent UK retailer. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle SAP programmes (S/4HANA, ECC, Cloud, integrations)
- Oversee delivery using Activate, Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies
- Engage senior stakeholders across business and IT (including C-suite)
- Establish governance, chair steering committees, and manage reporting
- Manage third-party vendors and system integrators
- Build and lead cross-functional teams (PMs, BAs, consultants, change managers)
- Drive change management and business readiness
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues
Key Skills:
- 10+ years SAP programme/project management experience
- Proven track record in complex, multi-vendor SAP environments
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Cloud solutions, and integrations
- Proficient in project delivery frameworks (Activate preferred)
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
- Experience in consulting and retail sectors is advantageous
