Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP Production Planning Consultant to join our team, focusing on delivering effective SAP PP/IM solutions. The role involves collaborating with business users to gather requirements and working on implementation, support, and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA and ECC 6.0, particularly in PP and IM modules. This position offers flexibility with remote or hybrid working arrangements in San Jose, California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements, and design SAP PP/IM solutions.
- Lead or contribute to SAP PP and Inventory Management implementations and enhancements.
- Configure SAP PP modules and support integrated processes with MM and WM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (onshore/offshore) to execute and support solutions.
- Develop functional specs, process flows, and support testing (unit & UAT).
- Create training documentation and conduct user training.
- Ensure seamless integration with non-SAP systems via EDI/IDOCs.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA / ECC 6.0 with strong focus on PP and IM modules.
- Strong understanding of SAP PP processes: production orders, goods movement, batch handling, stock transfers, etc.
- Integration experience with MM, WM, and external tools/systems.
- Experience with RICEF, change management, and SAP reporting tools (BW/HANA preferred).
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (MBA preferred).
- Experience with S/4HANA implementations.
- Exposure to SAP APO, Ariba, GTS, SRM, and WebDynpro.
- Background in semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
