Summary: The SAP Product Owner role involves driving finance transformation initiatives within SAP platforms for a leading organization in Reading. The position requires a candidate with a strong background in finance processes and Agile methodologies, particularly in the context of the events industry. This is a 6-month contract offering hybrid working arrangements, with on-site presence required 2 to 3 days per week. The role is outside IR35 and is set to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive finance transformation initiatives within SAP platforms.
- Collaborate with business SMEs and stakeholders across functions.
- Deliver projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Balance technical constraints with business needs in a solutions-oriented manner.
- Utilize a strong understanding of finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R).
Key Skills:
- Previous experience as a Product Owner, preferably with SAP finance-related initiatives.
- Strong understanding of finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R).
- Proven expertise in delivering projects within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with business SMEs and other stakeholders.
- Ability to balance technical constraints and business needs.
- Experience in the Events Industry is ideal.
