Summary: Serves as the functional product/system expert for SAP Warehouse Management (WM/eWM), collaborating with clients and the Logistics team to gather and analyze business requirements. The role involves configuring, implementing, and enhancing SAP modules to align with business needs while acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Additionally, it includes problem identification and solution development in conjunction with technical teams, as well as providing training and support to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathers and analyses user business requirements and processes.
- Understands client requirements, needs, and functionality of the Procurement/Warehouse Management (WM/eWM) modules.
- Defines and documents business requirements and validates solutions with the client with AS-IS and TO-BE process flows.
- Works with business users to configure/customise SAP to translate business requirements into functional design specifications.
- Defines initial settings, module-relevant security settings, and reporting options.
- Understands processes, reporting requirements, and user interfaces impacted by the SAP Procurement/Warehouse Management (WM/eWM) functionality.
- Acts as the Subject Matter Expert.
- Identifies modifications and recommends and applies changes as appropriate.
- Experience supporting SAP Procurement/Warehouse Management (WM/eWM) functions, including communication and interaction with technical teams and clients to resolve functional issues.
- Provides end user training and supports junior team members on learning journeys and up-skilling.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of SAP Warehouse Management (WM/eWM) experience in business solutions, business analysis, or management analysis.
- Additional experience of SAP modules aligned to SAP eWM/WM.
- Experience assisting users with business process changes and improvement initiatives.
- Ideally SAP certified, or willing to complete certification.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Communication and analysis skills to listen to clients and articulate feedback and solutions.
- Experienced in writing and executing relevant test scenarios.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills to identify, take ownership, analyze, and assist in solving business application problems in an ERP environment.
- Presentation skills to present to management and customers.
