SAP Procure to Pay Consultant

Summary: The SAP Procure to Pay Consultant role involves working in a hybrid environment with occasional requirements to be in London and Chester. The consultant will be responsible for designing bespoke solutions for the Nuclear waste sector, creating functional specifications, and supporting various testing phases. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in workshops to understand business requirements. The role is set to last until 15 May 2026 and requires BPSS + SC clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design bespoke solutions for Nuclear waste management due to the lack of a core SAP solution.
• Participate in workshops to gather business requirements and contribute to the design phase.
• Create functional specifications and support the build team in developing custom solutions.
• Perform Functional Unit Testing and support the Test team during Systems Integration Testing.
• Assist the Business Team through User Acceptance Testing.
• Provide Knowledge Transfer to the AMS team and support during the Hypercare period.

Key Skills:

• Demonstrable experience in SAP Procure to Pay and Inventory Management/Logistics Execution modules.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to think outside the box.
• Experience in creating functional specifications and supporting testing phases.
• Ability to work quickly and effectively in a challenging environment.
• Experience in providing Knowledge Transfer and support during Hypercare.

Consultant possessing demonstrative experience and a strong understanding in the following modules:
. Procure to Pay
. Inventory Management/Logistics Execution

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• A natural problem solver as they will be required to design a highly bespoke solution given SAP do not have a core solution for Nuclear waste.
• Essential the consultant is up for a challenge, willing to think out of the box and able to work quickly.
• Join in the foundation phase of this module and participate in workshops to understand business requirements and form a design.
• Responsible for creating functional specifications and supporting build team to develop the custom solution and perform Functional Unit Testing
• Expected to support the Test team through Systems Integration Testing and the Business Team through User Acceptance Testing.
• Required to provide Knowledge Transfer to AMS team and provide primary and secondary support through the Hypercare period
