Summary: The SAP PRA Consultant role at Deloitte involves supporting the Technology and Transformation team in delivering SAP Production and Revenue Accounting solutions for global oil and gas clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on configuration experience of SAP PRA.
- Lead/participate in fit to standard workshops for business requirements gathering.
- Review and create design documentation and functional specifications.
- Collaborate and influence senior stakeholders across geographies.
- Present recommendations and solutions to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Use insights to make recommendations for improvements and provide impact analysis.
Key Skills:
- Previous exposure with implementing SAP PRA for US markets.
- Detailed understanding of core SAP Production and Revenue Accounting master data set-up.
- S/4 Hana Finance Integration experience of joint venture accounting.
- Experience in Production Revenue Accounting end-to-end transactional and data flow.
- Experience of writing functional specs.
- Understanding of various PRA modules/workstreams like Production, Compliance, Ownership, and Revenue.
- Previous experience in Oil and Gas industry connected applications related to revenue accounting.
- Experience working in Agile/Waterfall project environments.
- Good communication skills with clients and colleagues.
- Industry best practices awareness and proactive in developments.

The Role
The Technology and Transformation team are looking for a Production and Revenue Accountant (PRA) to work with one of global oil and gas clients. You’ll be supporting Deloitte and the client team, lead on the design for processes and have hands-on configuration experience of SAP PRA.
Essential Experience / Core Skills
- Previous exposure with implementing SAP PRA for US markets is essential
- An SME with detailed understanding of core SAP Production and Revenue Accounting (PRA) master data set-up (Production Master Data, Valuation & Revenue Distribution Master data, Ownership, etc)
- S/4 Hana Finance Integration experience of joint venture accounting (minimum of two implementations), understand SAP Best Practices and clean core methodology
- Experience in Production Revenue Accounting end to end transactional and data flow for business process design
- Experience of writing functional specs
- Understand various PRA modules/ workstreams like Production, Compliance, Ownership and Revenue and how they are connected.
- Previous experience in Oil and Gas industry connected applications related to revenue accounting e.g. Quorum, LAT (Lease Accounting Tool) and Enverus
- Experience of working in and Agile / Waterfall project environment
- Stakeholder Management – Collaborate and influence senior stakeholders and work with teams across geographies.
- Consulting/Advisory skills - Good communication skills with clients and colleagues (both on and offshore). Present recommendations and solutions to clients and senior stakeholders
- Reporting and Analysis – Use insights to make recommendations for improvements to stakeholders and provide impact analysis.
- Industry best proactive and aware of developments in this area
