SAP PP Consultant

Summary: SAP PP Consultant needed for a 6-month contract in the UK, focusing on implementing solutions and changes within an SAP Programme. The role requires a proven track record in SAP Production Planning, with responsibilities including designing business solutions and providing support for data migration projects. The consultant will act as a subject matter expert, delivering projects from design to completion while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. This position is hybrid-remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a functional/technical professional with at least 5 years of experience in SAP S/4 as an SAP Production Planning consultant.
• Act as the subject matter expert in SAP Production Planning, providing professional advice and recommendations.
• Design and develop business/process enhancing solutions within SAP independently.
• Deliver early life support for new solutions and support established in-house developed solutions.
• Add value to existing business processes by improving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist in managing third-party and internal suppliers.
• Deliver projects from design to completion to achieve required business outputs.
• Influence and negotiate with key project stakeholders using data and analysis.
• Coordinate and supervise team members' activities as needed.
• Take ownership of and solve complex technical problems within the specialty.
• Prioritize work to deliver solutions to incidents, problems, change requests, and projects meeting Service Level Agreements.
• Provide support for data migration projects as required.
• Translate business data requirements into solution frameworks/architecture.
• Facilitate incident and problem resolution with business experts and technical resources.
• Ensure tight deadlines are met by planning and prioritizing work efficiently.
• Ensure effective communication with business and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate the development of code elements and review deliverables.
• Obtain acceptance for all deliverables from the business.
• Ensure adherence to internal and external standards for all solutions.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as an SAP PP Consultant with at least 5 years in SAP S/4.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Production Planning processes and solutions.
• Ability to design and develop business solutions independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical issues.
