Summary: The SAP PMR Functional Consultant role involves designing, building, and implementing complex Retail solutions with a focus on SAP Promotion Management. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to optimize promotion management and enhance customer experience. This position requires extensive experience in SAP Retail and strong client-facing skills. The role is contract-based, starting ASAP and lasting for 6 months, with a hybrid working arrangement in West Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, build, configuration, and implementation of SAP PMR solutions.
  • Implement and optimise SAP PMR for promotion management, data analysis, and automation.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end test scenarios and test cases.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, providing system solutions aligned with retail needs.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather, validate, and document requirements.
  • Act as a liaison with clients, troubleshooting issues and ensuring solution integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT and business process owners to ensure template adherence and manage localisation requirements.
  • Validate proposed solution changes and assess impacts, translating requirements into RICEFW objects.
  • Support deployment teams during prepare/fit-gap phases and lead fit-gap workshops.
  • Create/review functional specs, interface requirements, test scenarios, and training materials for localisation.

Key Skills:

  • 10–12 years’ IT services/products experience.
  • 8+ years’ SAP Retail Functional experience (with strong expertise in SAP PMR).
  • Hands-on experience across end-to-end SAP implementation phases.
  • Strong client-facing experience — leading workshops and managing stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to assess, manage, and deliver configuration changes.
  • Strong communicator, collaborative team player with onsite/offshore coordination.
