Summary: The SAP PM / Asset Management Process Lead will oversee the transformation of Asset Management processes to effectively deploy the SAP S4/HANA solution across internal sites. This role involves leading a team of subject matter experts to define and improve processes, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position requires a strong focus on optimizing asset lifecycles and contributing to strategic direction aligned with future business needs. The role is based on a 12-month contract with a preference for on-site work in Cheshire or Bedfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SAP S/4HANA Programme activities for Asset Management Business Processes.
  • Define globally standardized and repeatable processes in collaboration with the BAU BPO.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and drive the Lean journey.
  • Ensure Future State Processes meet applicable Regulatory Standards.
  • Champion new strategies to improve Business Processes and ensure Business Continuity.
  • Collaborate with Programme and Business Data Teams to define Data requirements.
  • Create and sustain key artefacts for successful transition to the next generation SAP ERP.
  • Manage relationships with key partners to ensure commitment to Programme Objectives.
  • Establish and implement Key Performance Indicators for Asset efficiency.
  • Provide leadership to the Product Compliance Team to meet SHE requirements.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience of Asset Lifecycle Management processes and SAP Plant Maintenance.
  • Detailed understanding of Asset Management Master Data requirements.
  • Ability to influence key Partner Groups across Multiple Locations.

Whitehall Resources require a SAP PM / Asset Management Process Lead to work with a key client on a 12 month contract.

*This role will ideally require 3 days per week on site in either Cheshire or Bedfordshire, although there may be some flexibility if required.

SAP PM / Asset Management Process Lead

We have an opportunity for an Enterprise Process Lead – Asset Management & Product Compliance to join the programme, working within the Production to Dispatch Door process area.
As EPL, you will be accountable for transforming the Asset Management approach to ensure effective deployment of our SAP (S4/HANA) solution across our Internal Sites. You will lead a team of SMEs in the definition, design and ongoing improvement of the processes and tools to ensure efficient, effective and transparent ways of working. This will include all forms of Asset Management within the Global Operations Network, collaborating with existing Process Areas (such as Total Productive Maintenance) and partnering with External Providers where appropriate.
The role will also provide leadership to the Product Compliance Team ensuring we deliver our SHE (safety, health and environment) requirements for to comply with Dangerous Goods Shipping and creation/maintenance of our Product Safety Data Sheets.
You will be aligned to the ‘Production To Dispatch Door’ Enterprise Process, with a strong focus on the optimisation of Assets throughout their lifecycle but support other process areas as appropriate. Underpinned by a culture of continuous improvement, the defined Asset Management processes will drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness to support the Internal Manufacturing Capability.
You will contribute to setting the strategic direction for the process with the Executive Process Owner (EPO) and drive the process towards that strategic direction. You will ensure you are not just defining the Asset Management Capabilities to support our Business today, but enabling our future needs as part of Ambition 2030 and aligned to our acceleration towards Smart Factories.

What you’ll do
* Lead the SAP S/4HANA Programme activities for the Asset Management Business Processes including defining the next phase of the “Global Template” and collaborating with the next sites as we educate and develop their capabilities in readiness for deployment.
* Lead a team of Experts to define Globally standardised and repeatable processes (in collaboration with the BAU BPO) adopting standard use of S/4 HANA within the Asset Management area, minimising the need for Local Technical and/or Process Customisation
* Network with colleagues across the Business to identify improvement opportunities, with a focus on driving forward the Lean journey through supporting the Total Productive Maintenance Framework
* Ensure Future State Processes to meet all applicable Regulatory Standards, eg SHE, GxP, SOX, Accounting GAAP etc
* Champion new strategies to improve Business Processes with the BAU BPO and ensure Business Continuity, meeting current and future Business requirements
* Collaborate with the Programme and Business Data Teams to define the Data requirements for the Processes, Analytics and Reporting
* Create and sustain key artefacts required to develop a successful transition to the next generation SAP ERP including the End-to-End Process Maps, Roles Descriptors and Process Controls
* Ensure that Non-SAP System requirements are understood and considered in the Process and Data Designs
* Establish and actively manage relationships with diverse pools of key partners to ensure commitment and understanding to Programme Objectives
* Establish and implement Key Performance Indicators to drive forward Asset efficiency and effectiveness
* Similarly, provide leadership to the Product Compliance Team ensuring we deliver our SHE (safety, health and environment) requirements for to comply with Dangerous Goods Shipping and creation/maintenance of our Product Safety Data Sheets.

Essential for the role:
* Extensive experience of Asset Lifecycle Management processes and specifically SAP Plant Maintenance processes.
* Detailed understanding of Asset Management Master Data requirements
* Demonstrated ability to influence key Partner Groups across Multiple Locations and/or External Parties
* Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver Engineering and/or IT Change across Multiple Locations and/or Business Functions
* Strong Communication and Relationship Building skills with an ability to Influence others to achieve Objectives
* Ability to interpret and communicate Technical information into Business language
* Similarly, the leadership capability/leadership acumen to provide leadership to the Product Compliance Team ensuring we deliver our SHE (safety, health and environment) requirements.
* Bachelor of Engineering/Science in an appropriate field

Desirable for the role
* Knowledge of SHE (safety, health and environment) requirements for to comply with Dangerous goods shipping and creation/maintenance of our Product safety data sheets.
* Experience of SHE Management processes including chemical regulatory controls/product safety processes; ideally experienced in SAP-EHS/Product Safety and Stewardship module or equivalent.
* Understanding of SHE Management Master Data requirements
