SAP Payroll Consultant

Summary: The SAP Payroll Consultant role involves supporting payroll operations for the UK and Ireland, including cloning existing payroll systems and implementing new ones. The consultant will represent payroll from a product and system perspective, author test scenarios, and support payroll transition activities. The position requires hands-on experience in payroll testing and cutover planning, with a focus on ensuring go-live readiness. Proven experience in payroll projects and familiarity with SAP Payroll systems are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support payroll for UK and Ireland.
• Clone existing payroll systems and support new payroll implementations.
• Represent payroll from a product and system perspective.
• Author detailed test scenarios and test scripts based on blueprint inputs and expected outputs.
• Support payroll transition and stabilization activities.
• Participate in payroll testing cycles and validation activities.
• Manage cutover, go live, and hypercare activities.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience with UK and Ireland payroll projects preferable.
• Strong understanding of payroll lifecycle testing and go live readiness.
• Prior experience in payroll implementations or transitions.
• Hands-on exposure to payroll testing and cutover planning.
• 7-9 years of relevant experience.
• Mandatory Skills: AI/Generative AI, ECC Payroll & Time Management, Prompt Engineering, SAP Business AI for HCM-SF, SAP Process Modelling Suite (Signavio, ARIS, Visio).
