SAP Payroll Consultant

SAP Payroll Consultant required to join a major enterprise client on a project-based engagement, working on a hybrid basis in Huntingdon, with onsite requirements dependent on the number of workshops planned per week and competitive rates.

This role requires BPSS clearance.

You'll join an established SAP team, supporting payroll analysis, configuration, testing, data migration and business support activities to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing throughout the project life cycle.

Key duties:

• Analyse existing SAP ECC GB Payroll configuration and processes.
• Support fit-gap workshops and future-state payroll design.
• Configure and enhance SAP GB Payroll solutions.
• Work with payroll schemas, rules and wage types.
• Support statutory payroll processing and compliance.
• Manage and support data migration activities.
• Conduct functional and end-to-end testing.
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and reports.
• Support solution design reviews and impact assessments.
• Identify process improvements and simplification opportunities.
• Support payroll integration with Time Management and Finance.

About You

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP GB Payroll.
• Proven experience across SAP ECC Payroll configuration and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of payroll schemas, rules and wage types.
• Experience with UK statutory payroll processing.
• Experience in payroll testing and data migration.
• Strong understanding of integration with Time Management and Finance.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working with clients and supporting workshops.
• BPSS clearance required.
