Summary: The SAP Payroll Consultant role involves building a new SAP payroll system within an established SAP ECC framework, supporting existing operations, and delivering project work packages. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement configurations while ensuring effective communication and training. This position requires a strong background in SAP HR Payroll and the ability to manage complex projects. The role is hybrid, requiring three days on-site after initial settling in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a new SAP payroll in an established SAP ECC system according to business requirements and policies.
  • Support existing client run-mode activities with query management and configuration changes.
  • Deliver project work packages and advise, support, and train key stakeholders as required.
  • Conduct requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Liaise between functional experts, HRIS experts, and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze detailed business requirements considering existing payroll configurations.
  • Decide on appropriate technical SAP solutions and deliver them.
  • Develop test scripts to support successful implementation.
  • Assess the impact of SAP updates and ensure configuration is updated appropriately.
  • Assist in the configuration and development of various Payroll projects.
  • Support run-mode queries and changes related to Payroll and Time and Attendance.

Key Skills:

  • Over 5+ years of proven experience in delivering complex projects in SAP HR, specifically in the HR Payroll domain.
  • Proficient in SAP Payroll configuration, including wage types, Personnel Calculations rules (PCR), and Schemes.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP Time and Attendance, including time evaluation.
  • Advanced level of English required.
  • Results and delivery-driven with a logical approach to achieving tasks.
  • Able to work independently to develop effective solutions to problems.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work well with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate detailed system knowledge into non-technical language.
