Summary: An excellent contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced SAP PaPM Expert to join a major S/4HANA transformation program. The consultant will lead the Cost Allocation workstream, bridging complex legacy allocation logic with standard SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) capabilities. This role requires strong hands-on experience with SAP PaPM and a proven ability to design and implement complex cost allocation models. The position is primarily remote with occasional travel to various cities in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Cost Allocation workstream for an S/4HANA transformation program.
  • Bridge complex legacy allocation logic with standard SAP PaPM capabilities.
  • Design and implement complex cost allocation models, including Assessments, Distributions, and Indirect Allocations.
  • Analyse legacy/custom allocation logic and translate it into standard SAP solutions.
  • Produce functional specifications and support unit and integration testing.
  • Design integration points between SAP S/4HANA and SAP PaPM.

Key Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Profitability and Performance Management (SAP PaPM).
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex cost allocation models.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance integration with SAP PaPM.
  • Ability to analyse legacy/custom allocation logic (SQL, Excel, Power BI, or bespoke tools).
  • Strong solution architecture experience.
  • Experience producing functional specifications.

  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex cost allocation models, including Assessments, Distributions, and Indirect Allocations
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance integration with SAP PaPM
  • Proven ability to analyse legacy/custom allocation logic (SQL, Excel, Power BI, or bespoke tools) and translate it into standard SAP solutions
  • Strong solution architecture experience, including translating business requirements into technical PaPM data models
  • Experience designing integration points between SAP S/4HANA and SAP PaPM
  • Experience producing functional specifications and supporting unit and integration testing
