Summary: The SAP MM Design Authority role involves working remotely with a hybrid schedule, primarily based in London, focusing on logistics and data analysis within the SAP MM framework. Key Responsibilities:
- Collating Business requirements and analyzing value drivers.
- Performing root cause analysis on data problems and translating data requirements into functionality.
- Creating and updating documentation to communicate requirements.
- Supporting the creation of acceptance criteria and validating solutions through testing.
- Describing technology in terms easily understood by business customers.
- Generating innovative approaches to existing problems or new opportunities.
- Supporting FitGap Assessment and Local Data Structure collection.
- Assisting in role mapping exercises, business testing, cutover execution, and hypercare.
- Supporting data loads and dual maintenance.
Key Skills:
- Strong SAP MM and logistics functional experience.
- Understanding of remote logistics/field logistics in SAP ECC.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry or Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO).
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 Embedded Analytics Reporting Frameworks.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and data analysis techniques.
- Analytical skills to work with unstructured datasets.
- Experience managing small teams and working in a global business environment.
- Knowledge of BI technologies.

About the Project The Senior Data Analyst is an active thought partner who shapes the Business demand and work closely with the Project / Product teams and stakeholders. The Senior Data Analyst gathers, analyses and models data and key performance indicators to develop quantitative and qualitative business insights. Develops processes and design reports to boost the business intelligence and is good at effectively processing large amounts of data into meaningful information. Key interface towards the Project / Product Managers, Design Architects, Data Engineers, Testers, End users etc. as a natural team to deliver the Business demands.
Responsibilities
- Collating Business requirements, Analyzing the value drivers and functional requirements, usability and supportability considerations.
- Perform root cause analysis on Data problems and translate Data requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities and various solution options.
- Create/Update clear documentation to communicate requirements and related information.
- Supports in Creating acceptance criteria and validate that solution by testing and ensure it meet business needs.
- Describe technology in terms easily understood by business customers and set realistic customer expectations for the project outcome.
- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills, willingness to take ownership and resolve technical challenges.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong SAP MM and logistics functional experience
- Understanding of remote logistics/field logistics in SAP ECC
- Have oil and gas industry experience or in Maintenance, Repair & Operations ( MRO )
- Kabal experience or integrating Kabal.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 Embedded Analytics Reporting Frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
- Experienced with Data Analysis Techniques and Processes, Data Modeling, Data Design and Ingestion
- Have analytical skills - can work with unstructured datasets
