Summary: The SAP MDG Consultant role focuses on implementing and supporting SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. The consultant will engage in functional design, data modeling, and requirement gathering while collaborating with technical teams to develop future state solution architectures. The position requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions and estimations for SAP MDG application.
- Design functional specifications for data modeling, UI modeling, and rules and validations in BRF+.
- Implement replication modeling using DRFin, DRFout, IDOCs, ALE, and SOAP services.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop solution architecture for MDG implementation.
- Share best practices and address common technical issues.
- Support high-level logical data model definition and feasibility discussions.
- Manage full life cycle implementation including blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers, and go-live.
- Own project deliverables across all phases of the project.
