SAP Master Data Lead Consultant

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP Master Data Lead.

As the SAP Master Data Lead during the Explore Phase of an SAP project, your role is to lead the master data workstream and oversee the delivery of master data governance (MDG) workshops.

You will be responsible for defining the master data strategy, facilitating workshops to capture business requirements, and ensuring the alignment of the master data model with the client s business processes.

Your focus will be on guiding the team and stakeholders through the design and governance of master data, specifically tailored to the project s needs during the explore phase. Areas to cover; Article Lifecycle Supplier Lifecycle Location Management Assortment / Space Planning

Key Responsibilities:

Lead master data workshops during the Explore Phase to capture business requirements and define the master data model across key domains such as materials, customers, vendors, and finance.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure that the master data governance framework aligns with business objectives and SAP best practices.
Facilitate discussions on data quality, standards, and governance policies, ensuring the master data design meets both operational and strategic needs.
Work closely with other functional leads to ensure that the master data model integrates seamlessly with other SAP modules such as and Retail.
Drive data migration planning and ensure that all necessary data cleansing and transformation activities are identified and planned during the Explore Phase.
Identify potential data-related risks and issues early in the project and propose mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with the project team to document the data requirements and ensure they are aligned with the technical design and implementation plan.
Provide guidance to the SAP team and client on best practices for master data management within the scope of the SAP Activate methodology.
Ensure that master data-related workshop outputs are well-documented, including requirements, decisions, and action plans.
Engage with business users to validate that the designed master data model supports future operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. Ideal Experience
