Summary: The SAP Master Data Coordinator will play a crucial role in a large SAP S/4HANA manufacturing transformation, focusing on data readiness, migration, and governance activities prior to go-live. This position requires collaboration between business, data, and functional teams to ensure master data is complete and accurate. Previous experience in SAP master data within a manufacturing environment is essential for success in this role. The contract is for an initial duration of 12 months and is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end master data readiness activities across SAP workstreams
- Support data migration cycles, mock loads, and data validation activities
- Track data objects, ownership, dependencies, and readiness status
- Work closely with functional teams (MM, PP, SD, QM, PM) and data migration leads
- Ensure data quality standards, controls, and governance are followed
- Support defect resolution related to master data issues
- Maintain data trackers, logs, and reporting for PMO and programme leadership
- Support cutover and go-live activities related to master data
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an SAP Master Data Coordinator/Data Lead/Data Analyst on SAP programmes
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA or ECC data migration activities
- Strong understanding of SAP master data objects (eg material master, customer/vendor, BOMs, routings)
- Manufacturing sector experience (discrete or process)
- Strong coordination, tracking, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a large, structured programme environment

We are supporting a large SAP S/4HANA manufacturing transformation and are seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Coordinator to support data readiness, migration, and governance activities ahead of go-live.
This role will sit between the business, data, and functional teams, ensuring master data is complete, accurate, validated, and ready for cutover and deployment. Previous SAP master data experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.
