Our client is looking for an experienced SAP Manufacturing Planning (PP) Consultant with expertise in migrating from SAP-ECC to S/4 HANA to join their fast-paced, manufacturing environment on a permenant basis.

You will be pivotal in understanding the current SAP-ECC, leading the transition from , optimising manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production planning, and driving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Current SAP-ECC Process Analysis and Optimisation:


• Conduct an in-depth analysis of current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within the context of SAP S/4HANA transformation.

• Implement best practices and leverage SAP PP functionalities within S/4HANA to streamline production planning, scheduling, and execution.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimise resource utilisation, reduce lead times, and improve manufacturing efficiency using S/4HANA capabilities.


• Determines user requirements for configuration and presentation of the SAP PP solution through interviews with functional, program-specific, or role-specific user groups


• Translates and communicates the output of process mapping and user requirements to the technology team lead and together develops cost and timing impact of requirements

• SAP PP Implementation and Configuration in S/4 HANA Transformation:


• Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP PP modules within S/4HANA, including master data setup, production planning, scheduling, and execution.

• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, QM) within the S/4HANA environment.

• Provide technical guidance and support for SAP PP-related activities within S/4HANA.

• Change Management and Training for S/4HANA:


• Develop and execute change management plans to facilitate the adoption of SAP PP within the S/4HANA environment.

• Provide comprehensive training to manufacturing personnel on SAP PP functionalities and best practices within S/4HANA.

• Problem Resolution and Support for S/4HANA:


• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PP-related issues and errors within the S/4HANA context.

• Provide ongoing support to manufacturing teams and address their queries effectively concerning SAP PP within S/4HANA.

Qualifications for SAP Manufacturing PP

1. Extensive SAP Production Planning Industry experience


2. Excellent Communication skills and ability to run business workshops independently


3. At least three end-to-end SAP-PP Implementations in S/4 HANA


4. Significant experience in SAP Materials Management (MM) module and manufacturing


5. Overall supply chain experience

Proven track record demonstrating strong team leadership, plus being hands-on in configuration.
