Summary: The SAP BTP MDM Consultant role involves supporting a major S/4HANA transformation programme with a focus on post-go-live support, incident management, and defect resolution within the SAP BTP Master Data Management landscape. The consultant will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and offshore teams to ensure system stability and continuous improvement. This position requires a strong understanding of MDM concepts and hands-on experience with SAP and non-SAP integrations. The role mandates three days of onsite work in Beeston, Nottingham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the S/4HANA transformation programme, focusing on post-go-live issues and defect resolution in SAP BTP MDM
- Provide timely resolution of MDM incidents raised by the business
- Design, build and maintain the MDM repository
- Drive design decisions for new changes and enhancements
- Respond to testing defects and support documentation activities
- Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues
- Support and enable offshore teams through knowledge transfer and training
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP BTP Master Data Management, Cloud Integration and API Management
- Experience with Master Data Management concepts including data modelling, governance and data quality
- Hands-on experience integrating MDM solutions with SAP and non-SAP systems
- Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (latest functionality preferred)
- Experience with data integration technologies (APIs, ETL, messaging)
- Retail industry experience, particularly promotions and deals, is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with proven client-facing experience

We are currently seeking an SAP BTP MDM Consultant to support a major S/4HANA transformation programme. This is an onshore role, working as part of the Application Maintenance & Support (BAU) team, reporting to the Onshore Service Delivery Manager.
The Role
You will play a key role in post–go-live support, incident management and defect resolution within the SAP BTP Master Data Management landscape. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects and offshore teams to ensure stability, quality and continuous improvement.
