Summary: The role of SAP Logistics and Warehousing Lead involves leading a team of consultants to deliver effective SAP S/4HANA MM/WM and EWM solutions for clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional and technical skills, particularly in EWM, and be available for on-site work in London or North West England. Candidates must also be eligible for UK security clearance at DBS level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of consultants in delivering SAP S/4HANA MM/WM and EWM solutions.
- Utilize strong EWM background for inbound processing and four-wall warehousing.
- Manage integration with third-party systems, scanners, and cranes.
- Handle procurement processes, including direct and indirect procurement.
- Oversee logistics, inventory management, and warehouse management operations.
- Report and manage waste movements and equipment handling.
- Ensure proficiency in Handling Unit Management (HUM).
- Integrate EWM mobile devices and weigh scales.
- Facilitate procurement/Ariba integration and transport management compliance.
- Maintain security clearance requirements for the role.

Role We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA MM/WM and EWM Consultant with strong functional and technical skills to lead a team of consultants in delivering optimal solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a robust EWM background, covering inbound processing, four-wall warehousing, and interaction with third-party systems, scanners, and cranes. We are looking for candidates who have or can be considered for UK security clearance at DBS level, be available for on-site work up to 2 days a week, in either our London or North West of England locations, and available for discussions/interviews in the immediate term.
Core Functional Requirements & Experience:
- Procurement: Detailed knowledge of direct and indirect procurement.
- Logistics and EWM: Core logistics, Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Embedded Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) knowledge.
- Waste Management: Experience in handling and reporting of waste management and movements.
- Equipment Handling: Handling of warehouse spares equipment and sub-contractor repair processing.
- Handling Unit Management (HUM): Proficiency in HUM.
- Integration: Experience with EWM mobile devices, weigh scales integration, and crane and scanner integration.
Desirable:
- Procurement Integration: Experience in procurement/Ariba integration.
