Summary: The role of SAP ISU Consultant focuses on upgrading current SAP systems to S4 HANA within the utilities sector. The consultant will work to streamline and optimize core processes while integrating functionalities and consolidating reporting tools. The position requires collaboration with customer teams to meet business requirements effectively. This is a hybrid role based in Belfast for a duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrade current SAP systems to the latest version, S4 HANA.
- Streamline and optimize core processes by integrating functionality into the S4 HANA Utility solution.
- Consolidate reporting tools.
- Support and develop SAP IS-U functional modules.
- Support SAP interfaces/integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Gather requirements and understand issues by working with varying business levels.
- Collaborate with customer teams to meet business requirements.
Key Skills:
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience supporting and developing SAP IS-U functional modules.
- Experience supporting SAP interfaces/integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with varying business levels to gather requirements/understand issues.
- Strong technical background and experience in utilities is desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of the Northern Ireland (NI) Retail Market Procedures.
- Experience of working with SAP Intercompany Data Exchange (IDE).
- Knowledge and experience of Data Aggregation Settlement procedures.
- Knowledge and experience of customizing variants within the SAP IS-U Billing Engine.

Essential Skills
This role will require resources with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role. This will include:
- Experience supporting and developing SAP IS-U functional modules.
- Experience supporting SAP interfaces / integration to other SAP & non-SAP systems.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with varying business levels to gather requirements / understand issues.
- The resources should be experienced working alongside a customer team to meet business requirements.
- A strong technical background and experience of utilities is desirable.
Desirable Skills
Knowledge and experience of the Northern Ireland (NI) Retail Market Procedures. Experience of working with SAP Intercompany Data Exchange (IDE). Knowledge and experience of Data Aggregation Settlement procedures (including Temperature Profile Adjustment & AGU Adjustment). Knowledge and experience of customising variants within the SAP IS-U Billing Engine.
