Summary: The SAP Integration Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions as part of a significant SAP integration transformation program. This role involves migrating from IBM MQ to SAP Integration Suite while ensuring the architecture is scalable, secure, and high-performing across various platforms. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders and mentoring development teams throughout the delivery process. The contract is for six months and is classified as inside IR35 with a hybrid working arrangement in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design enterprise integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite, CPI, API Management (APIM), and Event Mesh
- Lead integration migration activities from IBM MQ to SAP Integration Suite
- Define cloud and hybrid integration architectures across SAP and non-SAP systems
- Design secure and scalable integration patterns, including routing, transformation, and error handling
- Lead technical workshops and produce architecture documentation and integration roadmaps
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define integration requirements
- Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership throughout delivery
Key Skills:
- Strong SAP BTP Integration Suite experience including CPI, APIM, and Event Mesh
- Proven SAP Integration Architecture experience across cloud and hybrid environments
- Strong knowledge of SAP PI/PO, integration design patterns, and orchestration architecture
- Experience with SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, IDoc, and JMS integrations
- Experience designing secure integrations using OAuth, SSL/TLS, and SAML
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud integration architectures
- Experience with Graphical Mapping, XSLT, and Java Mapping
