SAP IBP Testing Consultant

Summary: The SAP IBP Testing Consultant role involves supporting clients with various testing activities, including the creation of documentation for functional and performance testing. The consultant will consult with customers to identify test scenarios and cases, design test processes, and perform end-to-end data migration testing. Responsibilities also include finalizing user acceptance testing (UAT) approaches and documenting test cases and defects encountered during testing. The position requires collaboration with customer-nominated end-users to validate business processes within the scope of services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support client with testing activities.
• Create documents for functional and performance testing.
• Cover test approach and methodology, test standards and guidelines, test case development, defect management, reporting and analysis, roles and responsibilities.
• Consult customer on identifying test scenarios, test cases, and/or test scripts for test execution.
• Support the documentation of test cases and/or test scripts in a testing tool.
• Consult client on designing test process and perform end-to-end data migration testing.
• Finalize UAT approach and test plan.
• Document user acceptance test cases and/or scripts.
• Support the documentation of user acceptance test cases and/or test scripts in a testing tool.
• Consult on preparing and setting up test data for user acceptance test.
• Perform user acceptance testing by customer nominated end-users to validate end-to-end business processes.
• Document and prioritize all testing issues/defects encountered.

Key Skills:

• Experience with SAP IBP testing.
• Knowledge of functional and performance testing methodologies.
• Ability to create and document test cases and scripts.
• Consultative skills for identifying test scenarios and designing test processes.
• Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with testing tools.
