Summary: The SAP HR/Payroll Consultant role focuses on enhancing and supporting existing SAP human capital management (HCM) solutions. The consultant will work in a multi-supplier environment, configuring SAP according to best practices and preparing documentation. This position requires collaboration with client teams to resolve issues and provide solutions while mentoring team members. The role mandates the use of an FCSA umbrella company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a multi-supplier environment to deliver projects and resolve high-priority Live Service issues.
- Configure SAP for HCM solutions according to industry best practices.
- Prepare quality documentation artefacts such as Solution Documents, Functional Specifications, WRICEFs, etc.
- Collaborate within an experienced team, reporting to an Engagement Manager.
- Provide estimates for work delivery and impact assessment.
- Support and liaise with client teams to resolve issues and meet contractual obligations.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Mentor and support the development of team members.
Key Skills:
- Experienced SAP HCM consultant with knowledge of multiple project lifecycles and Live Support environments.
- Strong functional HCM knowledge in Payroll, Personnel Admin., Time Management, and Country Legal Changes.
- Broader technical awareness in Workflow, ABAP, BASIS, Security, Integration, etc.
- UK Payroll experience with good knowledge in end-to-end Payroll processing and Year-end processing.
- Expertise in writing Payroll PCR SCHEMA and knowledge of interfaces to Third Party vendors.
- Ability to work independently and provide reliable solutions to customers.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills.
