Summary: The SAP Functional Finance Tester role involves performing functional testing for SAP S/4 HANA Finance Modules, with a focus on integrations across various systems. The position requires a strong understanding of finance business processes and experience in end-to-end testing of SAP S/4 Finance implementations. The tester will create test cases, validate data mappings, and work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues. Excellent communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional testing for SAP S/4 HANA Finance Modules, including integrations of various systems.
  • Strong understanding of finance business processes, such as financial accounting, management accounting, financial planning & analysis, and treasury management.
  • Minimum 1 project experience of End-to-End testing experience of implementation of SAP S/4 Finance (Cloud).
  • Project experience working with Public Sector Banks and Managing Public Funds.
  • Create test cases, test scripts, and expected results for different integration scenarios.
  • Document interface mapping and transformation logic (eg, via SAP CPI, Dell Boomi, or APIs).
  • Execute end-to-end testing for integrations between SAP S/4 Hana and downstream/upstream systems (eg, SAP Payroll, SAP EC, SAP Concur and any non-SAP applications).
  • Validate data mapping, transformation, and interface behavior using tools such as SAP CPI and API (Postman).
  • Establish traceability between requirements, defects, and test results.
  • API and Middleware (CPI) testing, File-based data transfers (SFTP, CSV, XML), Real-time and batch integration tests.
  • Validate data accuracy, field mappings, and error handling.
  • Log defects in SAP Cloud ALM (CALM); Re-test after fixes and track defect closure.
  • Work closely with developers, integration consultants, and functional teams to troubleshoot issues.
  • Excellent Interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to engage Customers.

  • Strong understanding of finance business processes.
