Summary: The role of SAP S/4HANA PM Functional Consultant involves leading the design, implementation, and support of maintenance operations within the SAP landscape for clients in the transportation sector. The consultant will focus on configuring the PM module to enhance maintenance processes and ensure integration with external systems. This position requires strong hands-on experience with SAP PM and a proven track record in S/4HANA implementations. The role is hybrid, based in London, and is classified as outside IR35 for a fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP PM design, configuration, and full lifecycle implementation.
- Support preventive & corrective maintenance, work order management, and equipment tracking.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Develop functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
- Support data migration, testing, and post-go-live activities.
- Integrate with external systems via APIs and SAP BTP.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on SAP PM experience (task lists, maintenance plans, equipment, functional locations).
- Proven S/4HANA implementation or enhancement experience (Private Cloud preferred).
- Good understanding of cross-module integration (MM, QM, FI).
- Experience with API-based integrations and SAP Fiori.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience on 3/4 Greenfield or 4/5 Brownfield Implementations of S/4HANA.
- Additional SAP S/4HANA Maintenance Planning & Execution certification.

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) Functional Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and support of maintenance operations within our customers SAP landscape. This role will focus on configuring the PM module to support preventive and corrective maintenance, work order management, equipment and facilities tracking, and integration with external systems and suppliers via portals and APIs.
