Summary: The SAP FICO Lead role involves spearheading the implementation of SAP FICO modules, ensuring alignment with financial principles and best practices. The position requires collaboration across various teams to optimize system performance and provide training and support to end-users. The candidate will also be responsible for continuous improvement by staying updated with SAP trends. This is a contract position based in London, UK, classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Spearhead and manage SAP FICO module implementation projects from initiation to completion.
- Configuration & Customization: Configure and tailor SAP FICO modules (including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling) to meet business requirements and best practices.
- Expert Guidance: Provide strategic insights and hands-on guidance on SAP FICO functionalities, ensuring processes align with financial and accounting principles.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams (technical, functional, and business units) to ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other enterprise systems.
- System Optimization: Lead system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to enhance SAP FICO performance and ensure system reliability.
- Training & Support: Develop and deliver end-user training and provide post-implementation support, ensuring users are proficient and the system remains optimized.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest SAP updates and industry trends to proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
Key Skills:
- SAP FICO Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
- Proficiency in SAP Platforms: Experience working with both SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC versions.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Implementation & Support: Proven experience in SAP FICO module implementation, configuration, and ongoing support.
