Summary: SAP FICO Consultant needed for a 4-month extendable project with an international client, primarily working remotely with occasional onsite meetings in Katowice, Poland. The role requires ensuring stable SAP FICO operations across multiple company codes and collaborating with finance stakeholders. The consultant will also manage change requests and support smaller projects. Business fluent English is required for effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure stable and reliable operational support of SAP FICO across 15 company codes
  • Take ownership of day-to-day SAP FICO operations, including incident handling and troubleshooting
  • Work closely with the Finance Community, in particular with global and local Business Process Owners (BPOs)
  • Analyze, coordinate, and implement change requests within SAP FICO
  • Support and deliver smaller projects, e.g. a SAP FICO rollout project for Germany
  • Ensure compliance with existing finance and SAP processes
  • Document processes, changes, and solutions to support knowledge transfer
  • Actively support the handover from the current role holder and prepare a structured handover to the future permanent hire

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant in complex, international SAP landscapes
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI and CO, ideally covering multiple company codes
  • Solid understanding of finance processes and accounting principles
  • Experience working with global and local stakeholders, especially Business Process Owners
  • Demonstrated experience with change request management and smaller SAP projects or rollouts
  • Ability to quickly onboard, work independently, and take full operational responsibility
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Interim or ad-interim experience is a strong plus

SAP FICO Consultant

SAP FICO Consultant required by Whitehall Resources for a 4 month extendable project assignment for our international client.

Start Date: 1st June/ASAP
Duration: 4 Months+
Delivery: Mostly remote with occasional onsite meetings in Katowice, Poland
Workload: 80-100% (4-5 days per week)
Language: Business Fluent English
