Summary: The SAP FICO Architect role involves leading the design and implementation of SAP FICO solutions for a prominent FMCG organization on a 6-month contract. This role is primarily remote with occasional office presence in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions in line with business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with finance, supply chain, and technology stakeholders to deliver end-to-end process alignment.
- Provide technical leadership and ensure best practices are followed for integration across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Conduct solution assessments, gap analyses, and propose system enhancements.
- Support project delivery, change management, and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Mentor internal SAP and finance teams on FICO processes and architecture.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO) with at least 3 years in an architect or lead role.
- Proven track record within the FMCG or consumer goods sector (preferred).
- Deep understanding of key SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, PCA, CCA, COPA).
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance and its integration with other modules.
- Strong business process knowledge across finance, controlling, and supply chain operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
