SAP EWM Technical Consultant

Summary: The SAP EWM Technical Consultant will collaborate with customer business and project teams to gather requirements and map them into SAP EWM processes. The role involves developing technical documentation, leading development topics, and enhancing existing applications while understanding customer business processes and IT landscapes. Key responsibilities include ABAP development, application of OSS notes, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with customer business teams and project teams effectively.
• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops, map these into SAP EWM processes, and identify gaps and solutions.
• Develop technical documents to accurately represent application design and code.
• Evaluate existing applications to add new features.
• Lead specific development topics.
• Understand customer business processes and the IT landscape rapidly.
• ABAP objects development in SAP Modules such as EWM, MM, WM.
• Application of OSS notes and SAP ASAP methodology.
• Principles of program documentation and techniques of systems analysis, design, and testing.
• Design, develop, and code difficult and complex programs for SAP EWM.
• Recognize critical elements of complex application problems and develop solutions.
• Express complex concepts clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
• Work effectively and independently on assigned projects and train users.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and users.
• Understanding of EWM Process Flow.
• Experience in OO ABAP, ITS technology.
• Good experience in EWM ABAP (RF Screen, PPF, enhancements, CIF).
• Knowledge in Warehouse monitor, Alerts.
• Additional knowledge on DAS, EGF, MFS related areas would be an added advantage.
