Summary: The SAP EWM PMO/Project Manager role involves leading the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP Extended Warehouse Management implementations and enhancements. The position requires strong project governance experience and advanced proficiency in project planning tools, particularly Microsoft Project. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams and ensure adherence to project methodologies while overseeing warehouse process design and user acceptance testing. This role is hybrid working and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP EWM project delivery (greenfield, brownfield, or rollouts)
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans using MS Project
- Manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, and critical path analysis
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, and technical teams
- Oversee warehouse process design including inbound, outbound, internal movements, and RF processes
- Manage risks, issues, and change requests effectively
- Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and cost control
- Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder meetings
- Ensure adherence to SAP Activate or other project methodologies
- Provide regular project status reports to senior stakeholders
- Drive user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live support
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an SAP EWM Project Manager on multiple full lifecycle implementations
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP EWM
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience in project planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project
- Expertise in project management methodologies (SAP Activate, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and supply chain processes
- Experience managing global or multi-site deployments
- Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
