Summary: The role of SAP EWM Consultant involves supporting the implementation, rollout, and ongoing support of a global SAP program, specifically focusing on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). The consultant will leverage their expertise to configure and optimize warehouse processes, integrate with SAP S/4HANA, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support SAP EWM implementations, rollouts, and system enhancements
  • Configure and optimize SAP EWM processes, including inbound and outbound logistics, putaway and picking strategies, warehouse structures, storage types, and bin management, cross-docking, wave management, and labor management
  • Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA and related modules such as MM, SD, and TM
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct blueprinting, and design solutions
  • Prepare functional specifications and coordinate closely with technical and development teams
  • Support testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage defect resolution
  • Provide post-go-live support and deliver end-user training
  • Work collaboratively with both onsite and offshore teams to ensure project success

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on SAP EWM experience
  • At least 1–2 full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations
  • Strong expertise in Embedded EWM on SAP S/4HANA
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes
  • Experience with RF framework, handling unit (HU) management, and stock determination
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with business stakeholders
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to support implementation, rollout, and ongoing support activities for a global SAP program based in Slovenia. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional expertise in SAP EWM and hands-on experience delivering end-to-end warehouse solutions.
