Summary: The SAP Integration Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the integration architecture of the enterprise ecosystem, ensuring seamless communication between SAP systems, internal applications, and cloud platforms. This role requires strategic oversight and technical leadership in integration projects, focusing on performance optimization and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP integration and a strong technical background in relevant tools and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the end-to-end integration architecture for SAP S/4HANA, including cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise scenarios.
- Evaluate and select appropriate middleware tools for specific business requirements.
- Establish integration standards, reusable design patterns, and "Best Practice" guidelines for the development team.
- Lead complex integration projects, providing expert guidance on API management, OData services, EDI, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot high-level integration bottlenecks to ensure 24/7 business continuity.
- Translate complex technical roadmaps into business value for executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in SAP integration, with at least 3 years in a Lead or Architect capacity.
- Deep proficiency in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Strong knowledge of ABAP (Proxy, IDoc, RFC) and REST/SOAP/OData protocols.
- Experience with SAP Event Mesh or similar messaging services.
- Solid understanding of core SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, CO) and how data flows between them.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
