Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, conceive, realize, and implement IT systems for logistics process redesign.
- Focus on SAP (SAP S/4 Hana and ECC 6.0) and middleware components.
- Identify potentials for new IT solutions and act as a consultant interfacing with IT customers.
- Utilize Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Configuration Management in line with policies.
- Investigate issues and recommend fixes to the productive system.
- Support planning and creation of IT reports for the business.
- Perform and participate in Unit Testing, SIT, Integration, and Regression testing.
Key Skills:
- Degree in IT-related field, computer science, industrial engineering, business administration, or mathematics.

- Experience with project management methodologies, particularly Agile.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English; knowledge of German is advantageous.

The global rollout of SAP S4 makes this a fast-growing team working with the industry’s leading partners. This team has a unique position in the company, collaborating closely with agile product owners based in Germany but being UK based, with the full support of both teams.
The Opportunity As a Junior SAP Engineer for SAP Physical Logistics your main tasks include the analysis, conception, realisation and implementation of IT systems as part of the redesign of logistics processes in the international plant network Your focus will be on SAP (SAP S/4 Hana and ECC 6.0), but will also include working on the necessary middleware components, e.g. interfaces and a hybrid cloud architecture (e.g. Azure, Kafka). Part of your remit will provide competitiveness through innovation by identifying potentials for new IT solutions and acting as a consultant interfacing with IT customers. Use of Incident, Problem, Change, Release and Configuration Management in line with policies and procedures and in conjunction with other teams within the IT community. You will be expected to investigate issues and recommend fixes to the productive system. Undertaking internal process planning will be part of this role as you will support planning and the creation of IT reports to the business. You will be responsible for performing and participating in Unit Testing, SIT, Integration and Regression testing.
What will you bring to the global premium automotive brand: Educated to degree level, ideally in an IT related field or computer science, industrial engineering, business administration and mathematics. Experience in the field of SAP process/software engineering and/or process consulting would be beneficial. A functional understanding of SAP Inventory Management. Experience of project management and methodologies, particularly Agile, would be valuable. A good knowledge of Written and Spoken English is required and knowledge of German is a distinct advantage.

Compensation We offer a competitive hourly wage plus an annual performance-related bonus. You will receive a generous annual leave up to 35 days which is inclusive of bank holidays.
