Summary: The SAP ECC6 Project Manager will lead a significant ERP deployment program for a large enterprise organization in Devon. This role requires extensive experience in SAP ECC6 implementation, particularly in Finance and Manufacturing modules, and involves managing the end-to-end deployment process. The position mandates on-site presence four days a week and is classified as outside IR35. The successful candidate will drive project delivery, oversee migration from JDE to SAP ECC6, and ensure operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading SAP ECC6 implementation and migration projects (FI/CO and PP/MM)
- Managing timelines, budgets, risks, governance, and reporting
- Overseeing JDE to SAP ECC6 migration, including data migration and integration
- Aligning SAP solutions to finance (GL, AP, AR, Costing) and manufacturing (MRP, Production Planning, Inventory) processes
- Coordinating cross-functional teams including functional, technical (ABAP/BASIS), and business stakeholders
- Ensuring seamless system integration and operational readiness
- Supporting change management, user adoption, and training
Key Skills:
- Strong, hands-on experience delivering SAP ECC6 deployments in a project management capacity (essential)
- Demonstrable expertise across FI/CO and PP/MM modules
- Proven track record managing full SAP project lifecycles
- Experience delivering ERP migrations, ideally JDE to SAP ECC6
- Strong understanding of SAP best practices within finance and manufacturing environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and governance management skills
- SAP certifications (FI/CO or PP/MM) and formal project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are advantageous

SAP ECC6 Project Manager
We are partnering with a large enterprise organisation with operations in Devon to appoint an experienced SAP ECC6 Project Manager to lead a major ERP deployment programme.
This is a critical delivery role requiring very strong, proven experience in SAP ECC6 implementation and deployment, particularly across Finance (FI/CO) and Manufacturing (PP/MM). Experience leading a JDE to SAP ECC6 migration is highly desirable.
This contract is outside IR35 and we also need someone who can be on-site 4-days per week which is mandatory.
The Role
You will take full ownership of the end-to-end SAP ECC6 deployment, driving delivery from requirements through to go-live and post-implementation support.
