Summary: The SAP Data Migration Consultant role focuses on leading data migration activities from JD Edwards to SAP ECC within the pharmaceutical industry. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and executing data migration test cycles. This position requires a strong background in data extraction, transformation, and validation, along with collaboration with technical teams. The role is contract-based for three months with potential extensions and requires on-site presence in South West UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute data migration activities from JD Edwards to SAP ECC
- Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and validation
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data migration strategy and mapping rules
- Ensure compliance with pharma regulatory requirements (eg, GxP, data integrity standards)
- Develop and execute data migration test cycles (SIT, UAT, mock loads, cutover)
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Support cutover planning and go-live activities
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an SAP Data Migration Consultant on at least one JD Edwards to SAP ECC project
- Prior experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry (essential)
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC data structures and migration tools (eg, LSMW, BODS, Migration Cockpit)
- Hands-on experience with data mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in pharma (GxP, CSV, data integrity)
- Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelines

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant with a strong background in pharmaceutical industry projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering end-to-end data migration activities as part of an SAP ECC implementation, specifically supporting a migration from JD Edwards (JDE) into SAP ECC.
