Summary: The role of SAP BW/4HANA Consultant involves designing and delivering analytical solutions while ensuring data quality and performance. The consultant will work in a hybrid environment, spending two days in the office and three days remote, and is expected to start immediately. The contract is fixed-term for six months, with a salary budget of £70,000 to £80,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP BW/4HANA Development & Modelling: Design, develop, and optimize data models in SAP BW/4HANA, including Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSOs) and CompositeProviders.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop SAP BW queries and create dashboards and KPIs to support business decision-making.
- Stakeholder & Communication: Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into technical designs and provide documentation and training.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in SAP BW, with at least 2+ years in BW/4HANA.
- Strong hands-on skills in BW/4HANA Modelling, data flow design, and query development.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures and extractors.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere is an advantage.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA Consultant with deep expertise in data modelling, reporting and with knowledge (advantage only ) SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Datasphere. The ideal candidate will design and deliver robust analytical solutions, ensure data quality and performance, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities and Mandatory skills for the ideal candidate :
- SAP BW/4HANA Development & Modelling
- Design, develop, and optimize data models in SAP BW/4HANA.
- Build Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSOs), CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views, and Transformations.
- Implement extractors, data flows, and integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA systems.
- Ensure data lifecycle, performance optimization, and process chain automation.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Develop SAP BW queries using BEx and integrate them with SAC or other reporting tools.
- Create intuitive dashboards, visual stories, and KPIs that support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with reporting standards and performance best practices.
- Stakeholder & Communication
- Collaborate closely with business users to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Provide clear documentation, solution walkthroughs, and training as needed.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SAP BW, with at least 2+ years in BW/4HANA.
- Strong hands-on skills in BW/4HANA Modelling, data flow design, query development, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures and extractors.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Knowledge on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – modelling, story creation, dashboarding and SAP Datasphere (modelling, integration, semantic layer) shall be an advantage
- Knowledge or quick learning ability on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – Shall help in below
- Develop SAC stories, dashboards, analytic applications, and data models.
- Integrate SAC with BW/4HANA and other data sources.
- Optimize performance and ensure usability aligned with business requirements.
- Knowledge or quick learning ability on SAP Datasphere (formerly DWC)
- Build and manage Datasphere models, spaces, and data flows.
- Implement data integration and semantic modelling leveraging Datasphere capabilities.
- Work with BW Bridge or hybrid scenarios to support modern data warehousing architecture.
