Summary: The SAP Business One Consultant will play a crucial role in deploying and optimizing SAP Business One solutions within a glass manufacturing company. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct process mapping, and ensure successful implementation across multiple domains. The consultant will also be responsible for change management and integration with other critical systems. The role requires significant on-site presence at manufacturing facilities in Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the project scope, including project plans, deliverables, RAID logs, risk mitigation, and budget.
- Align deliverables, costs, and timings to the needs of the key business stakeholders’ requirements, including auditing of deliverables.
- Work on-site at the Company’s manufacturing facility in Litchfield, MI (4-5 days a week) and other manufacturing and R&D facilities in Ypsilanti, MI and Detroit, MI next year.
- Collaborate successfully with Company’s leadership team and business process owners, focusing on delivering business goals.
- Own the change management and transition of new functionality to operations.
- Interface with the ERP implementation partner and consultants to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of SAP solutions.
- Implement SAP Business One across Company’s Business Systems and integrate it with other mission-critical systems.
- Experience with implementing SAP Business One across multi-site/multi-year manufacturing facilities while considering cost, scalability, and user adoption.
- Report, analyze, and resolve issues related to implementation and project operations impacting service quality.
- Identify process inefficiencies and compliance issues, implementing effective solutions.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP Business One configuration and deployment experience with all modules.
- Strong background in manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- 5+ years of team leadership and system integration experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field.
- Experience partnering with Business and Functional teams to drive results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Organized and able to function successfully in a team environment.
- Strong technical, organizational, troubleshooting, problem-solving, budgeting, and time management skills.
