Summary: The SAP BPC Group Reporting Analyst will manage the SAP BPC group reporting and consolidation system for a UK-based SAP Programme on a contract basis for an initial period of three months. The role involves performing SOX controls, developing reports, and ensuring the functionality of finance systems meets business needs. The analyst will collaborate with Group IT and third-party suppliers while providing training and documentation support. This position is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage reporting cycles using BPFs (business process flows).
  • Manage BPC security ensuring that only authorized users have access.
  • Analyze current internal business processes and work closely with the Group Finance team to improve efficiency.
  • Play a role in the implementation of new upgrades and system-wide changes.
  • Aid in the design, testing, and rollout of related systems and interfaces.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Excel AFO-EPM reports and input forms.
  • Troubleshoot system and reporting issues including data mismatches.
  • Manage BPC master data including the chart of accounts and reporting hierarchy.
  • Assist in documenting finance system process guidelines.
  • Provide ad hoc business and project support.
  • Test new systems and provide input into their design.
  • Provide end user training and maintain training documentation.

Key Skills:

  • At least 5-7 years of SAP BPC & BW experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with accounting/finance systems.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing BPC as a technical/functional analyst or managing BPC as an in-house super user.
  • AFO-EPM reporting skills to develop new reports/input forms.
  • BPC dimension maintenance and BPF configuration/deployment.
  • Strong Excel skills (VBA useful).
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and IFRS based accounting practices.
  • Clear communication and strong senior stakeholder management skills.
