Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day administration, configuration, and maintenance of SAP HANA database environments to ensure stability and reliability.
- Continuously monitor system performance, analyse workload trends, and implement tuning strategies to optimise efficiency and scalability.
- Plan, execute, and validate backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity and ensure business continuity.
- Project and Security Compliance tasks
- Collaborate closely with the SAP functional and technical teams, providing expert guidance and operational support.
- Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, capacity constraints, replication failures, and other data integrity concerns.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework
- Maintain adherence to database vendor licensing requirements and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Lead incident and problem management activities, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
- Contribute to project delivery efforts and enforce security, governance, and compliance standards across database environments.
