SAP ABAP Consultant

Summary: The SAP ABAP Consultant role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom ABAP programs within SAP systems. The position requires collaboration with functional consultants and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure integration with various SAP modules. The consultant will also provide support for existing programs and maintain documentation. This is a contract position with a hybrid work mode near Crewe, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs and enhancements in SAP systems.
• Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand requirements.
• Ensure integration of ABAP developments with SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, HR, etc.).
• Provide support and troubleshooting for existing custom programs and enhancements.
• Maintain high-quality documentation for developments, technical specifications, and testing.

Key Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming).
• Strong understanding of SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, HR, etc.).
• Experience in designing and developing custom ABAP programs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide support for existing programs.
• Excellent documentation skills.
